James 'Arg' Argent admits he had 'very bad relapse' and is 'anxious' after scare

James ‘Arg’ Argent has spoken out about the ‘blip’ he suffered two weeks ago, despite being sober for the past two years

The reality TV star, who has lost 14 stone in weight following gastric sleeve surgery, admitted that having an alcoholic drink after being sober for a long time led him to spiral as he spoke about paramedics being called to his home in a rush to save his life., the 34-year-old said: ‘I had a very bad relapse after having some cravings for a while, but instead of ringing my therapist I had a drink for the first time in two years.

Argent explained that he was at a comedy night with friends when his cravings for alcohol overwhelmed him and he had a drink later that evening at a party. The paramedics conducted tests and confirmed it was safe for Arg to recover at home, where he remained for two days sleeping it off., where it was believed he joined voluntarily but did not check-in for any overnight stays.
