Letters: Stuart Taylor, Sasha Simic, David Amess and Peter Tippetts respond to the leading Conservative politician’s recent comments on the Grenfell Tower fire

Jacob Rees-Mogg thinks it would be “common sense” to have tried to leave Grenfell Tower rather than follow the fire brigade advice to “stay put” . The “stay put” advice was based on the assumption that maintenance and materials were of the highest standard, regular inspection happened and regulations were followed.

It shows the arrogance and contempt these people have for the general public. The 'we're smarter than you' & 'they'll swallow any kind of bullshit' attitude from a group that think they were born to reign. These bastards are running & ruining the country. We need a revolution.

They cant show common sense or humanity 'cos They are not there to represent the interest of the public/voters ! They are there to represent businesses/corporations, They have to listen to their masters first !

It was awful but he read all of the Grenfell report; do you think Jeremy Corbyn or Boris Johnson did ?

He's a tool. Next.
