Now, according to the band’s manager, a second film inspired by the Nineties’ biggest girl band is in the works. That’s right, anotherIn a recent interview with Billboard, Simon Fuller explained that the as-yet-untitled upcoming Spice Girls film will be animated, rather than live-action. “What’s coming next is that we are going to be doing lots of exciting things. We’ll be making an animated movie and there’s lots of exciting plans to come,” Fuller toldThe news comes months after the ladies – Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm – announced a reunion tour at the end of 2018. As expected, all dates have now sold out, and the band are set to play 11 different stadiums throughout the UK this year.
“To be honest with you, while it was clearly phenomenal, they are such an awesome phenomenon I expected it,” said Fuller, commenting on the successful sales.“It’s a global phenomenon.
