A company’s charity scheme in the Covid crisis delighted some buyers, while others feel let down

Soon after lockdown started and high-street stores closed, a scheme called Lost Stock appeared, offering shoppers the chance to have a mystery box of clothing delivered to their door.

The media reporting of the Lockstock boxes has been problematic all round - glorifying FastFashion from the beginning. It's asking the same system that caused the problem to fix it - meanwhile there's no accountability for brands:

I am still waiting for mine and it has been delayed a few times but ... the concept is definitely interesting. I may end up surprised or underwhelmed but ... will not be disappointed as the box was a 'surprise box'. It was a good thing to do 😀

They aren’t letting people cancel! I have been trying for a week now to cancel and they have refused

Terrible products Im afraid. I still support the idea though.
