Sackboy: A Big Adventure has made a relatively slow start to life on PC with just over 600 peak concurrent players on Steam

It’s also worth noting that Sackboy was released one day before , which is expected to be one of the best-selling games of this year and next and has attracted 263,174 peak concurrent players on Steam.

Would have done better if it was actually marketed I am a big LBP fan and I didn't even know it happened also crossplay

I just don’t know anybody who would buy this and play it on PC. It’s a family couch game.

How did this game do on launch for the PS4/PS5? I mean it's a good game, a platformer for those looking for something simple but that's disappointing.

Maybe next time actually market your game PlayStation Sony. Straight up just shadow dropped it onto Steam, of course it wasn't going to sell.

Nothing against it, but it isn’t really a banger. It’s fun and a kids game. Definitely not something PC would pay $60 bucks for when Uncharted launched for $50. Their pricing structure makes zero sense.

No one asked for this port.

Yeah no advertising around it.

Call of duty is better

I'm consider myself pretty up to date with gaming news and I didn't even know this came out on PC already.

Didn’t even know it dropped

Because it's $60? That's too high for this type of game. Now if it were $40 I'd consider it more and probably a lot of other people too

How did it do on console though really? It isn’t the big title for most.

🤣🤣🤣

No regional pricing, high base price, many better alternatives. Sony can change two of those things atleast.

I'm one of them lol, I think the game is very charming, plus long time LBP fan. It's just unfortunate they released this port on the same weekend as MW2 MP

Issue is clear as day and its Sony biggest problem as a whole selecting dates Sackboy- releases same week as the biggest game every year COD,release a week after 1 of the most hyped multiplat releases in p5r Hzd - launch week before zelda Hzdfw- launch week before elden ring

noone cares loserstation's l products

Only console clowns can buy it in the name of nextgen title. 600 is surprisingly very good number on steam for it's pricetag

Bad pricing $60 indie like and two year old game. 30 would've been much better. Failed launch at PS5/PC. $60 can get AAA latest games, Sony needs to learn pricing their game on PC, SM and Sackboy both had full price of years old game. SM would've done better if it was at $50.

Does this means that Playstation have 3 flops this generation? Destruction all stars, Babylon's fall in PS5, and Sackboy in PC?

Releasing the same day as MW2 will do that

That’s Sony’s fault for not properly advertising Sackboy on PC. Same for Uncharted. If they are serious about PlayStation PC integration, then they need to properly market it as if they are. I personally couldn’t give a fuck less about PC, but this just seems like common sense.

Speaking as a PC gamer, I want the creation tools more than a platformer. Give me LittleBigPlanet or Dreams and I'll buy it in a level heartbeat.

Actually a good game but definitely something that should’ve stayed ps exclusive, not because of the quality but because pc players weren’t gonna care for this.

the price is just outrageous

MonkeyKingZobe Hahaha

Shame and embarrassing on them this game VERY GOOD

Good, this was an experiment by Sony to see how far they can get away with pricing their games on PC and im glad it failed, trying to sell a 2yrs old $60 dollar game on pc is clown behavior

That's because the pretty bad timing, Victoria 3 took the Steam store those days, also Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord and of course CoD:MW II. And then the Steam Scream Fest, that, maybe is not the best event, but it caught all the attention.

Nobody cares about this game on PS4 or PS5 either. I bet if PlayStation showed player numbers like steam it would look similar there too

I mean... They released it a week before MW2.

andrexz1_ They need to be strategic with these PC releases. Clear to see no every PS game will be that successful on PC. They should choose carefully what games they port.

Loved this game as a kid not surprised it did poorly since there was little to no advertisement. Also releasing it a day before the new COD

It’s a fun game. My family loved it. Almost got the plat but that last 10 min run was tough.

Should have ported Dreams...Sony

Its not for everyone tbh. I enjoyed it personally, but its a niche game for sure

Well yeah they released it right before MW2 -__- this is like the amazing and underrated mad max game that was literally buried by MGS Phantom pain because they were both released on the same day 🤦🏻‍♂️

The game looks fine but $60 for an old game when there are many games coming out is just not worth it

Relatively low popularity on PS to begin with. Chose to release on the same week as a COD title. Very low advertisement. Some regional pricing are just horrendous. The result is a surprise to no one.

BenjiSales

Poor choice to port. So many better choices rachet and clank, Bloodborne, gran tursimo sport, uncharted 1-3,

This game is criminally underrated. Played through it after launch and it was throughly enjoyable. Haven’t tried co-op but imagine it’s fantastic if you have the people.

Badly marketed, overpriced, released between CoD and Bayonetta 3…what else would have the result been? 🤣

they charged full price for the game

Feels like Sony's pumping these things out too fast. They need to space them out and market them more

Probably should have... Ya know advertise it

Tbh had no idea it was even dropping, I don’t regularly log into epic either. It was only due to the Halloween sales I launched it.

Not surprised, the game was and is shit on ps5

Go on, keep releasing games that are not Bloodborne to see how lower will be the numbers through releases. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Sackboy on PS4, but there’s a high demand for Bloodborne on PC (Based on PS Now stats).

Tbh that's the first time i ever heard of sackboy coming to pc And that comes from a guy that keep an eye on gaming news every day

And nothing but excuses from PC pirates as to why. The truth is that all platformers do badly on PC. Just look up the stats for any one of them on Steam.

I bought it. It’s pretty good

Bro.. it droped one day before MWII and it's literally the smallest game on PS5.

Had no idea its out, might pick it up soon if its on sale or already a good price

We need dreams on pc

It is on my wishlist, but for that price? That is way too much.

Let's not act like it got much attention when it originally dropped.

It's barely marketed and was dwarfed by CoD Lol come on If they want to do numbers they need to actually advertise their products. They did so well with horizon and god of war, tf happened.

Man that's embarrassing

because Sackboy is not the game we the PC bois want

Sony did it dirty. Such a great game but I heard PC players say they didn’t even know it was dropping.

Pc deserves more this is sad

The release window isbad...

I helped this low figure. I bought Star Ocean instead.

Sackboy deserves more love 😖

they dropped it a day before MWII... What did they expect?

I mean no one cared when it came out on Playstation so I'm not surprised.

did Sony leave it too long to port this? Nowhere near the same hype as GoW or Spider-Man got

Even on PS I never heard anyone talk about this game lol.

Experiences of the Data Monitoring Committee for the RECOVERY trial, a large-scale adaptive platform randomised trial of treatments for patients hospitalised with COVID-19 - TrialsAim To inform the oversight of future clinical trials during a pandemic, we summarise the experiences of the Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) for the Randomised Evaluation of COVID therapy trial (RECOVERY), a large-scale randomised adaptive platform clinical trial of treatments for hospitalised patients with COVID-19. Methods and findings During the first 24 months of the trial (March 2020 to February 2022), the DMC oversaw accumulating data for 14 treatments in adults (plus 10 in children) involving | 45,000 randomised patients. Five trial aspects key for the DMC in performing its role were: a large committee of members, including some with extensive DMC experience and others who had broad clinical expertise; clear strategic planning, communication, and responsiveness by the trial principal investigators; data collection and analysis systems able to cope with phases of very rapid recruitment and link to electronic health records; an ability to work constructively with regulators (and other DMCs) to address emerging concerns without the need to release unblinded mortality results; and the use of videoconferencing systems that enabled national and international members to meet at short notice and from home during the pandemic when physical meetings were impossible. Challenges included that the first four treatments introduced were effectively ‘competing’ for patients (increasing pressure to make rapid decisions on each one); balancing the global health imperative to report on findings with the need to maintain confidentiality until the results were sufficiently certain to appropriately inform treatment decisions; and reliably assessing safety, especially for newer agents introduced after the initial wave and in the small numbers of pregnant women and children included. We present a series of case vignettes to illustrate some of the issues and the DMC decision-making related to hydroxychloroquine, dexamethasone, casirivimab + imdevimab, and tocilizumab. Conclusions REC
