The 29-year-old, from Glasgow’s Southside, has now had her life"turned upside down" after being diagnosed with a Functional Neurological Disorder at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.This tragic turn of events left Yasmine going from completing triathlons to struggling to gather the strength to even pick up her kettle.
“My body was just so weak I couldn't even lift the kettle, it got to the point I became very frustrated.“I also love being outside with my dogs. It was a huge part of my day, that is probably what I miss most.”Yasmine began suffering extreme abdominal pain around Tuesday, June 21 prompting her to call NHS 24 who sent her to Hairmyers Hospital in East Kilbride.
She has created a Tiktok account, @yasminnegibb, that discusses her health journey and answers questions about FND.sending support to Yasmine.
