Israeli air strikes hit areas near Gaza's Shifa and Al-Quds hospitals, and Palestinian militants clashed with Israeli forces in a border area east of the city of Khan Younis in the south, Palestinian media said. There was no comment from Hamas. The claims have not been independently confirmed. Israel also hit targets in Syria and Lebanon, in response to launches from those areas into Israel, the IDF said.
