An American couple took the phrase ‘something borrowed’ to a whole new level ahead of their dream wedding in Scotland.The pair flew from Orlando to Philadelphia on a diverted flight, and then ontoBut upon their arrival in the city, they were horrified to discover their luggage had gone missing.
With hours to spare to the wedding, the couple had been offered a selection of eight wedding dresses, suits and kilts. Mum-of-two Amanda said: ‘I was oblivious to all the work that went on in the background. We woke up to this beautiful thing orchestrated for us.‘By 10am on Tuesday there were eight dress offers. In the middle of the night people even responded, one woman even dropped off normal clothes to help.’She’s used to having to adapt at short notice, but a missing wedding dress was a problem she hadn’t encountered.
