An Islamic State widow who left her home in Australia to join Isis at 19 has asked to come home from a Syrian refugee camp.with her toddler son and six-month-old baby since fleeing Baghouz, Isis’ last stronghold.
She added: ‘Nobody really cares about us here, and I understand the anger that they have toward a lot of us here.The camp is the same one where former London schoolgirl Shamima Begum last month made a plea to come home to Britain. Duman, a former private school student, gave up her middle-class life in the Australian city of Melbourne where she was part of a Turkish-Australian family for the battlefields of Syria in late 2014.
