Its blend of tactical combat with deep city-building elements makes it one of 2024’s most highly anticipated strategy titles. Read on to see if the game currently has an accessible demo.
Unfortunately, the Manor Lords demo was pulled from Steam once its Next Fest event ended back in October 2022. The medieval strategy game looks promising, complete with unique weather conditions, residents who raise vegetables and chickens in their backyards, and combat packed with siege engines, peasants, and mercenaries. While we got to spend some time in-game back then, we can no longer access the demo.that involves keeping the demo files and using the .exe file to play the game.
. They noted that “I don’t want to worry about outdated builds flying out there, people complaining about bugs that I might have already fixed and anything else. I want to work at my own pace and present you with a new version that I’m happy with when it’s ready.” It makes sense that they would want players to access only the final build of the game.
While the earlier demo was limited in scope, it managed to sell Manor Lords’ ambitious plan for its 14th century settlements, kingdoms, and economic systems. Our time in the playable demo was largely bug-free and the final version will certainly be more polished. As Steam’s most wishlisted game with over 2 million wishlists, Manor Lords’s strategy management already has a large fanbase.
