Puppy investigators are warning of a flood of sales of potentially sick pets from illegal farms at Christmas.

Tom and William Mongan were convicted after the SSPCA brought forward evidence relating to pets which were later put down due to ill health. Tom Mongan pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to three charges of causing unnecessary suffering while William Mongan admitted two charges.
