Sometimes all you want in a hotel is a bed to roll into after a night out and a shower. But there are certain travellers to Nottingham who want to make more of their stay in luxurious surroundings. The Orchard Hotel has unveiled what it believes to be one of the best rooms in Nottingham - with its new Signature Suite the perfect place for visitors wanting a more unique experience. The suite on the top floor of the four-star Nottingham Venues' hotel was previously an under-used meeting room.
After months of planning the space was gutted and internal walls were constructed to create a contemporary home-from-home environment. When we were given the chance to spend a night there I discovered it's actually better than home, when it comes to the bed and the bathroom, but more on those later.
