Inside Scott Mills’ romance with fiancé Sam Vaughan as he gets married in Spain

BBC Radio 2 presenter Scott Mills is busy making last-minute preparations for his wedding to fiancé Sam Vaughan in Spain on Saturday, 25 May.

"Planning is going really well, it's really near now," he said at the time. "It's a summer wedding. I think we're worked out all the logistics of everything and what's going to happen on the day."Rocky start to romance Scott and fiancé Sam seem perfect for each other, which the radio star says he could see straight away - but unfortunately, Sam needed a little more convincing.

"So when we had the conversation about taking it forward and he said 'I'm not ready', I was devastated. Being friends with someone you're in love with doesn't work. We didn't speak for six months." Spending so much time together over the coming months obviously strengthened their relationship as the pair are stronger than ever after the intensity of lockdown.

"You make me laugh every single day, you support me in so many ways and I adore everything about you. As soon as I met you I knew this could be something special and it is . "I never thought I’d find somebody who’s as obsessed with Sky News as me and I can’t wait to call him my husband!"
