The signs warning you to keep your distance may look out of place at Alton Towers but after weeks of seeing similar notices in my local supermarket, they no longer look that alarming. The only exception is the Alton Towers Dungeon, which opened last year but will now remain closed for the foreseeable future.

The queues at Alton Towers have always seemed intimidatingly long. But nowadays, the length of the line is more likely to be down to enforced spacing between family groups than huge visitor numbers.

It's ingrained in Boris and his mates to pat each other patronising on the back and congratulate each other for talking absolute piffle... We'll have to see for ourselves.. They are elected representatives, and deserve the best scientific and medical advice to protect them, against the Covid_19 Danger, we the people must understand how hard they're working, to keep the privileged position that now hold 🤔😁✌️🙏🇬🇧. Britain can be burning but they will save their privileged arses every time
