An inquest into the death of a 14-year-old boy whose body was found in a river in Trafford is set to open tomorrow. Luke Howe went missing from his grandparents' home in Hale just before 6.15pm on Thursday (January 18). A major search operation was launched by emergency services, as members of the public and Luke's loved ones also came together to scour local areas. Sadly, Luke's body was found in the River Bollin on Friday, January 19.

An inquest into Luke's death is due to open at South Manchester Coroners' Court in Stockport tomorrow morning (Thursday). It will be heard in front of Senior Coroner Alison Mutch.
