It's not that bad, gameplay works quite well, graphics may not be high-end, but ok. The problem for me was that Frey is annoying. (I had the same feeling with Amicia in Requiem at one point, but luckily she got her act together, unlike Frey). But Forspoken bashing is still unfair

It's honestly deserved, if that's the case. I'm having a fun time with Forspoken, the spells and traversal are awesome, but as a DJ and former music producer, I am absolutely in love with Hi-Fi Rush! I just can't get the music out of my head - I am now synced with the game haha.
And honestly, neither game is appealing to me.
The best thing here is now the narrative of 'People don't buy games because they are on Gamepass' is completely smashed. Gamers support good games no matter the medium and badly made crap gets run down no matter the marketing and brand name endorsing it.
