Images show inside beloved Blantyre pub that shut down 12 years

OId Matt Boyle's Pub, which was also fondly known as Matt's Bar, was the go-to local for many who were walking down the Main Street in the High Blantyre area of the town.Images taken by Jim Donnelly show the inside of the pub which has remained mostly untouched since it shut back in 2012. The bar is still standing and some stools remain inside the premises.The old signage can also be seen still standing in the venue.

The assault is believed to have taken place in the Glen Cannich area at around 8pm on Wednesday, April 24.
