New research from Tripadvisor has revealed the top UK travel destinations this autumn, and one coastal Scottish town is included.has released its latest Travel Index, which reveals insight into holiday demand across the world. According to the Autumn Travel Index, three quarters of people in the UK are planning to travel over the next three months.over, 60 per cent are planning an international trip to chase some autumn sun.
The seaside town, which is sometimes called The Ferry, is around half an hour out of the centre of theby car. It is best known for its views of the Forth Bridges, which loom large over its independent cafés and shops. The number one trending UK travel destination this autumn according to Tripadvisor is Porthallow in Cornwall, followed by Hayling Island in Hampshire. St. Peter Port, Castel, and St Martin — all of which are in Guernsey — round out the top five.
