Ice Cube defends payroll of hit comedy Friday after cast member Faizon Love says he was paid scale

Love told Comedy Hype he would work on a Friday sequel for lower pay on general principle because of the positive impact the original movie had on his career.

Ice Cube reacted after a Twitter user accused him of 'robbing his own people' in reaction to a story about Love's payday for the first film 'I guess it's a slow news week so let me say what I got paid is a moot point, it was the price of admission to a game,' he said. 'I have zero regrets.' Ice Cube responded to a tweet that speculated that Chris Tucker, who had played Smokey in the original film, had not appeared in the sequel over financial reasons. The 1995 film starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker was a breakout hit and spawned two sequels

Hospitals in England asked to look for up to 4,000 emergency Covid bedsNHS on ‘war footing’ as small-scale ‘Nightingale’ facilities being created at eight sites WTAF?! I think this is a jules Verne story “search for mythical beds & magically appearing nursing staff” So we are going to find several thousand staff to cover these beds hidden with the loose change down the back of the sofa are we. Huge numbers of nhs staff of sick great plan Bojo Can we please stop referring to this as a 'war'. It's not a war, it's a pandemic. I'm willing to bet that in wars people don't go about preparations saying 'We're on a pandemic footing.' I'm not being bombed, captured, or shot at. Nor is anyone else (unless in a war). Thanks.
