Ian McKellen's West End show has been cancelled again after the star fell from the stage in front of horrified audience members on Monday .
However, it has now been announced that Wednesday's performance of the show has been cancelled. In a statement posted to X, formerly Twitter, the production said the star is 'recovering well' and that they 'look forward to him returning to the production as soon as he is ready'. “We are delighted that Ian is recovering well, and look forward to him returning to the production as soon as he is ready. We will keep audiences updates regarding remaining performances this week.”
“I want to thank everyone for their kind messages and support,” Sir Ian said in the statement posted to X, formerly Twitter.
