I went to Alton Towers' Scarefest and couldn't escape the maze

But Alton Towers' Scarefest offered up something truly horrifying this year. The theme park partnered with YouTube star Daz Games to open a brand new immersive experience. At Scarefest 2023, Daz Games: PANIC sees an escape room combined with a live action scare maze.

In order to exit the game, people must race against the clock and finish within seven minutes...or they're trapped inside forever. Sounds simple enough, but in Scarefest-style, players are not alone and there are plenty of ghouls trying to distract you along the way. Also, there was a task at hand, I needed to find my symbols, so reuniting with him wasn't my main priority at this time. It's safe to say that's the most running I've done in a long time. A deafening alarm plays out speakers, along with a countdown, reminding you that your up against the clock.
