I remember always being told Mondays and Tuesdays were the quietest days for restaurants, so if you want a cheap deal and a guaranteed table, the start of the week is the time to go.
It is a classic Nando's - you know what you are getting, which is a comfort after a long day, but the New Brighton outlet is a little smaller than I imagined it would be. However, the staff are quick at turning tables and we waited less than 10 minutes to be seated where we got straight to ordering via the Nando's website.
Then came the mains. I will say, my chicken was a little more charred than I would have liked, but I wasn't put off by it. The mash was smooth and well seasoned and the coleslaw was creamy and, in my opinion, a perfect pairing for the chicken.
