The ECHO previously reported how KFC rolled out the new lunchtime meal, to rival the likes of Tesco, Sainsbury's and Boots. As a fan of a Tesco meal deal, I headed down to KFC in Liverpool Central to try it out.
The meal deal costs £5.49 for three items. Customers can purchase either a twister wrap or a burger as your main, a drink, which could be either water, or a flavourful drink like Pepsi, 7-Up or Tango. Finally, for your side, you can choose either salt and vinegar or paprika Walkers crisps, or for those with a sweet tooth, a cookie.
My first thought was that I really liked how the wrap was slightly toasted. This is a distinct difference from McDonald’s wraps. However, in each other aspect, I still think I prefer a McDonald’s wrap. That said, it was still filling, which is good for a meal deal, and it was good combined with a Pepsi drink and the cookie.
