Tories, *this* is what you voted for. This is on you. How do you sleep at night, knowing you are party to such inhumanity?

He'd probably broken someone's ankle to be in that position.

He would have been seen on arrival by a doctor and had access to medical help throughout his time there, another of those never happened stories.

So how is this keeping the UK safe and stable? HostileEnvironment

Terrible. That poor guy. I had a broken arm & collarbone as a kid. Was sheer agony. Never had pain so bad. Pain to make you blackout. Poor guy must have been in excruciating pain. I really feel for him. I hope he gets some sort of justice. I also hope he gets to stay in the UK.

I cannot believe how cruel &terribly they treated this lovely innocent man that was also partially sighted. Who were these people in a position of authority ? They are not fit for purpose as they could do this again to someone else. Surely they should be struck off immediately?

Question..he is windrush or not..why detain him if he didnt commit any crime..jow many people from commonwealth countries like india pakistan..australia..are detained with same credentials as him?

lordbonkers why wasn't a doctor called surely deportation detention is the same as criminal arrest detention, once you are in it, someone has a duty of care for you

'Too busy'? Couldn't give a shit more like.

Now Guardian do the homeless people on the streets that are actual citizens because some of them have more than a broken ankle, just saying

Damn.mUS might as well just bring back sentences of pure torture..this is it..But Trumps be in his element if torture legal..😳😳😳

Rumblings & questions about behaviour goes right to the top of Government, how will PM’s bravado laugh this off?

Home Office boss quits over 'campaign against him''I have been the target of a vicious and orchestrated briefing campaign' Top civil servant in the Home Office, Sir Philip Rutnam, quits and says he intends to sue the government for constructive dismissal BethRigby I’m confused. Was ‘Sir’ Philip in charge of the Home Office during the Windrush scandal? If so, was he the bad guy, but now a good guy (because Priti Patel is the media bogey (wo)man) or is he still a bad guy? Honourable and decent man. How brave. Others need to come out now and force the demise of toxic Patel and the Government. They should bite ashamed of themselves. Stand up people and be counted. You will have the support of the country. This cannot continue.
