Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford believes Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo's maturity on the ball has stood out the most as he prepares to potentially make his England debut this week.

He told talkSPORT: "I think he made his full debut against us at Goodison Park. I remember the manager mentioning that they had the young lad playing centre-mid. "I have only trained with him for a day but in his performances for Man United he looks so calm on the ball and he plays with such maturity." Mainoo will be hoping he can impress Southgate enough in the next few days to earn a call-up to the England squad for this summer's European Championships in Germany.
