I want to have a family without having to rely on my partner too much but this feels so far from the reality.

My main question would be, where do I even start? Now money is coming in, I’ll be putting 30% away for tax, and then following thewith the remainder, but outside of that I feel like I should be so much more secure at 26. I just want to get to the end of the month without having sleepless nights about whether I have enough money to put petrol in my car. I work hard and I never feel like my bank balance reflects that.
