TWO military veterans who appear in a TV ad to be shown tomorrow night have made a personal plea to Sun readers to support this year’s Poppy Appeal.could hit vital donations to The Royal British Legion.
Peter, who served in Germany with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps, says: “When you hit rock bottom it is the little things that are important. “It is an important part of what the Legion does because without it we can’t support our veterans who need help. "Some of the things they endured have really messed them up.
