I had two babies months apart but they're not twins

A mum give birth to two babies just months apart and spent a combined total of 213 days in hospital with her poorly little ones.

Hunter and Jesse are even set to walk Karen down the aisle at her wedding to their dad, Lee, 37, an insolvency practitioner, later this year. Karen, an HR coordinator, from Norwich, said: "When I gave birth to Hunter and he was taken to NICU, I couldn't imagine having to go through that again. But just 56 days later, at 27 weeks and two days pregnant, her waters broke unexpectedly. Karen said: "I noticed that I had a lot of discharge when I went to the toilet, so me and Lee thought it best to get checked out.

After taking a healthy Hunter home on May 8, 2022, Karen was "shocked" to discover that she was pregnant for the second time just five months later. She said: "It was tiring looking after a six-month-old while making sure my baby was healthy. But Lee and both our parents were the best support that I could have ever asked for.

"His blockage was causing him to throw up poo out of his mouth and nose. It was heartbreaking and I desperately wanted to make everything better for him.
