SCANNING her local supermarket, Jo Bohm loads up her trolley with smoked salmon, chicken and luxury mince pies for Christmas dinner.
“I learnt it from my gran and mum who were keen yellow-sticker shoppers. They were both single mums, so it was about being thrifty. “We had smoked salmon, rocket and Philadelphia cheese; a main of chicken, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings and gravy; and a mince pie and slice of cheesecake each for pudding.
The Governemnt and PM certainly didn’t do this. They spent a few extra 0s of our tax payer’s money, whilst laughing at the nation last year.
