So you'd complain that it's hypocritical for a police officer to use force to arrest someone that committed violence? I don't agree with people having their travel disrupted, but the point of the protest is valid, and she makes it a bigger story by being there, so why not go?

If the government spent the foreign aid budget on buying wasteland somewhere in the world and cultivating trees there it would have an enormous impact on our carbon footprint.

It would have been a long swim. There is absolutely nothing hypocritical here. Do journalists have any moral integrity? You have a responsibility when writing for the public.

If it was on a scheduled flight I don't see where the hypocrisy is. It was due to fly anyway. I hear some people describe me as being 'rough'(though I don't know why), but it seems to me the same people are certainly being so with EmmaThompson on this issue of climate change.
