Let’s face it. At least 600 people a year die from Influenza in the U.K. Some years a lot more. It’s sad that anyone dies, but at the moment there is a lot of OTT media scaremongering going on!

The UK has 20 confirmed cases, but given the detection rate outside China is thought to be ~25%, there could easily be ~80 cases in the UK, half of which are v mild or asymptomatic.
The government know this is silently seeding, just like in Italy and South Korea. We need urgent measures Now not when people are already getting sick. Where is the common sense in all this?

The BBC and other media should be cautious about using phrasing such as ‘hunt’. There have been worrying scenes in some countries as rational thought and empathy are overtaken by fear and hysteria. Let’s not have that here, please.

Ok then closing GP surgery & tracing people this person has been in contact with fine, Im more concerned how & where he has caught the Virus (as caught on uk soil) while in the UK & not abroad, so is it not possible somebody has the virus doesn't know & passed it on to the guy
