Brazil international and former Porto star Hulk has revealed he recently lost six kilos through sweat and had to drink 30 litres of water in order to give a urine sample.

He later explained to Globo Esporte: “Since I arrived at Atletico, that was the game in which I was most dehydrated. I lost six kilos today. “It was tiring [doping control]. I was tired. I started [the game] with 97 kg, finished with 91 kg. I fell on anti-doping. I stayed there for four hours, drank 30 litres of water.

6 kilos is easily doable so hardly a story, but drinking 30l is obviously an exaggeration which has increased over the years. 30l of water weighs 30kg, which is 4 and a half stone. He would've drown himself. Needs to reassess his story
