How socially distanced stars are still making TV dramas in a crisis

"Obviously we want proper crews and we don't want people to think we are going to do this all the time," Hooper adds."But in these unprecedented times, it's quite a beautiful thing to do."

Make-up artist Naomi Donne bought each actor a make-up kit and gave them online tutorials about how to apply it; while costume designer Jacqueline Durran went through their wardrobes - virtually. "As people get back to work, the things that will be more possible will be the smaller shows," he believes."That doesn't mean they all have to be like Talking Heads or shot in peoples' houses."Armando Iannucci's Avenue 5, starring Hugh Laurie, was in the middle of building the sets for season two

"What's going to be difficult are shows that require access to public locations and the semblance of a normal, bustling world. Soaps have reduced the number of episodes being screened and may resume with minimal cast and crew in order to avoid going off air altogether. But it would be too dangerous to involve older and vulnerable actors, he said."I don't want Ken Barlow [played by William Roache, 88] to get sick on my watch."

BBC News had now reached the absolute bottom of the pile. Well done.

To be honest I’m sick of watching people via webcam, stick on some classic stuff, the BBC must have hours of Dickens adaptations. Or show Life on Earth all of the series from the start. Something to educate and enlighten. We want escapism not a reminder of how boring life is.

Aww narcissistic people feeling left out didums !!

Who cares!!

The only socially distanced stars I want to see are in the sky. COVID19 coronavirus

Must be annoying for all the internet 'celebs' and 'influencers' now that in much of this the real celebs are now on their turf. The pessimistic part of me is fed up with celebs desperate attempts to stay in the limelight. And all the video call ads while were at it.

....making a drama out of a crisis 🙄

hi-tech and stealth where there's a will there's a way.

Does anyone care. Most of them are making a drama out of a crisis imo.

Who actually cares?

😂😂 honestly you lot will complain about anything nothing will ever make you lot happy you will just keep on wasteing your time complaining to the bbc
