Without the guardian and Twitter, I would feel like I was insane here in the US, given how little discussion and media coverage environmental issues and climate crisis get here in our day-to-day lives.

CO2 is plant food, climate is always changing, the sun makes the earth warm. If your place is not safe from upcoming change, then move. Government cannot stop the weather.

Wow, that's so good of you. Excellent timing too, with the wave of public interest making not focussing on climate editorially impossible. One question: what have you done for the last 30 years that the science has been in?

I hope they have all stopped flying, none own a car, all eat locally grown, organic, and seasonal produce (or better still, grow it themselves), and have done away with all single use plastics. Such is EASILY within the reach of any1 on their salary and not remotely unreaslistic

I thought CO2 was a future threat? But climate changes are occurring now...when CO2 has only gone up 100ppm (1/10000 of the atmosphere).... What is REALLY going on?

Fake emergency

this was the thames this morning, it's enough to make editors air go grey

Today we pledge to give the climate crisis the attention it demands | Katharine VinerThe Guardian’s editor-in-chief explains why support from our readers is crucial in enabling us to produce fearless, independent reporting that addresses the climate emergency There is no crisis. What can we do to help? Plenty of volunteers ready to go🙌🏼 Wouldn’t it be a better way of getting people on board if they protested by picking up litter on the beach and countryside? And shame people by showing the full skips?
