100 years on: meet the upcoming cult of creatives leading the legacy of Bauhaus

So live, I play sax and sing. But I don’t play saxophone properly, I can’t read music so I just feel it and scronk on it more.So this shoot is about the new era of artists and 100 years on from Bauhaus and what’s next and the excitement of the new decade. Can you describe to me how you feel about the new decade and what it will hold for the arts?I feel like everything’s been done. We’re in a period where there’s loads of everything.

But it wasn’t ever really planned which is quite nice. I never thought I was going to do music as a career.Could you start by introducing yourself and tell me a bit about your practice and what you do?My name is Abdourahman Njie, I’m 24-years-old, in case you wanted to know. I’m a multidisciplinary artist. So that means multifaceted in terms of my art; I’m a choreographer, lecturer at University for the Creative Arts in Rochester, I do consultation as well as cultural research for brands.
