Academy says it was in ‘impossible’ situation but it faces questions over delays in offering safeguarding to alleged victims

I can appreciate the tough situation of the accusers but no organization can act without firm evidence. Bafta clearly made attempts to get first-hand testimony but no-one was willing to supply it. Bafta knew when it acted it would be destroying a man's career, it had to be sure.

Choosing to release this article when you did shows total disregard for all the other actors and crew who worked hard and are rightly proud of their involvement in ITV 's Viewpoint. I suppose they don't matter?

The MeToo movement & MSM have so much to answer for. They have made justice systems into a joke and erased the concept of ‘innocent until proven guilty’ if it happens to be a female accusing a man. They are also encouraging the notion that women are weak & need mollycoddling.
