Footage has captured the horrifying moment a man is hit over the head with a 'paving slab' in a violent attack just yards away from school gates.
It was established that the victim had been attacked before being found with injuries with what is understood to have been a paving slab. Police are now investigating the incident as attempted murder.The Manchester Evening News has now decided to share the shocking clip of the incident - but has edited the voices and blurred the identities of those involved.
The victim immediately falls to the ground, hitting his head on the road and before lying completely still. The perpetrator then walks back and forth repeating the phrase: "I warned you" afterwards. One woman told the Manchester Evening News she saw the man lying on the ground with a bloody head injury and a loose paving slab next to his body as emergency services and bystanders rushed to help.
