THE US is expected to allowed vaccinated passengers to travel from the UK to the US from November.

The Biden administration is thought to be preparing an announcement for later today, which would also also lift a ban on EU visitors.Credit: Alamy, the new policy would allow fully vaccinated Brits to holiday in America within weeks. This means a trip to Florida - popular with Brits due to both Disney World and Universal Orlando - or to New York could go ahead again this year.

There has been speculation about a lifting of the US ban for several months now, with the Prime Minister reportedly pushing for a travel corridor between the two countries back in June, at the G7 summit. The UK has been on the US travel ban list since March 2020, with exemptions solely for US citizens and permanent residents, certain close family members and other limited categories of visa holders like diplomats and UN staff.More than five million people from the UK visited the US every year, with 4.5 million trips made in the reverse direction.

Canada election: Why it’s easier to vote in Canada than the USThings like advanced voting and federally-run elections make it easier for Canadians to vote. Because Canada is vastly superior Why? Because we’re not Americans who are seemingly powerless to stop political corruption, including voter suppression in that country. We have a tradition of well run elections. Political interference in machinery of elections would generate a swift response from voters here.
