More statues fall in Hong Kong, as the Chinese state seeks to remove memories of the Tiananmen Square massacre. PGMcNamara reports.

The Chinese government has hit back at President Biden’s new law that restricts imports from Xinjiang over concerns about the abuse of Muslim minorities in the region.

A foreign ministry spokesman said the move would undermine global supply chains and disrupt international trade. It comes as two more monuments in Hong Kong commemorating the Tiananmen Square massacre were removed.
