Holly Willoughby leads stars showing off their Elf On The Shelf efforts

It’s December, which means celebs across the globe are sharing their festive preparations ahead of the big day.

And while Christmas is going to look a bit different for most of us this year, there’s one tradition that has come around the same as usual, and celebrities are throwing themselves into Elf On The Shelf.The Elf On The Shelf is a special ‘Scout Elf’ sent from the North Pole by Santa Claus, to help manage his nice or naughty list.

The idea behind the Elf On The Shelf is that children are led to believe he or she travels back to Father Christmas every night to report on their behaviour, the Scout Elf then reappears elsewhere in the house every morning to keep a watchful eye on the kids. Lots of parents across the UK like to join in with the fun with their kids, but it’s not always easy to come up with inspiration each evening.
