Halloween is fast approaching, and Glasgow and the surrounding areas have a cracking array of events throughout October 🎃

Have a gourd time at The Pumpkin Festival in Motherwell:The festival has games,, arts and crafts and a pumpkin express train and visitors are also invited to pick their pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.

Online tickets per person are £8.50 with a hot drink voucher and £10.95 with a pumpkin, and under twos go free.On October 29 and 30, the Barras Market is having a weekend of Halloween fun from 10am to 4pm.The event promises crystals in cauldrons, tarot readings, tricks and treats, and spooky sweets.The GFT is screening three cult classics and tickets are expected to sell out fast.

The programme includes screenings of Bram Stoker’s Dracula which turns 30 this year, as well as Nosferatu with a live score and John Carpenter’s The Thing .
