It is hard to believe that Helldivers 2 is approaching just three months since it was released, it feels like we’ve been at war with the Automatons and Terminids for many years now. With the game still being so new, Arrowhead Game Studios is regularly making changes to the game to improve the experience for players and add essential quality of life improvements.
By turning this on you will no longer randomly climb up ledges or on top of objects on the map. This has both pros and cons because, on the one hand, you won’t climb on top of Resupply pods, but on the flip side you also will have to manually climb up ledges. I do think the easier option would have been to just make Resupply pods unclimbable as this seems to be the main issue players were experiencing, and also add this setting for those that want it.
