Sun lovers have something special to look forward to at the end of the week, as the Met Office predicts that temperatures will once again hit highs of 37°C.
However, the week will be getting off to a more unsettled start with wet weather on the cards for some of England and Scotland. Northern parts of the UK, in particular, can expect a wet and windy spell on Tuesday and Wednesday as an Atlantic low-pressure will cross to the northwest of the UK, with more settled conditions across southern areas.Additionally, a weather warning for rain has been issued for some western parts of Scotland on Tuesday.
Warm and dry weather means that people can enjoy outdoor performances without raincoats – at a distance. Here’s the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno near Lands End ‘It’ll be another hot day on Friday with temperatures widely reaching 30 Celsius, or higher, in central, southern and some northern parts of England. It is likely to be hotter still in southeast England where 34 to 37 Celsius is possible.
