In a letter shared on the school's website, and its now-deleted Facebook page, executive headteacher Martine Buckley said she was 'very upset' to be writing a letter about people not following coronavirus rules and regulations.'Our lovely children are open and honest and they tell us about their lives and activities.
'I am afraid that I will have to withdraw the offer of a place in school to children whose parents are putting us in danger. But there have been lots of supportive messages, too. Here's just a handful of the comments from Twitter. 'Our school always sends reminders to parents not to allow playdates and follow the government guidelines by not visiting other households. This is to protect the school and our community. Our teachers are now tested twice a week and also wear face coverings in class.' @cmcl_claire123· The school posted an update today, with Martine Buckley saying they have been rather taken aback at all the attention the letter received.
