Queues have been building in airports across the country as travellers begin to take off for their summer holidays.In a bid to reduce the queues, Edinburgh Airport will update travellers on the length of time it takes to get through security and into the duty free section.
A spokesperson for Edinburgh Airport said: “We’re going to be sharing four updates on our social media channels each day, and these will go out at regular intervals when we’re expecting the airport to be busy. "That will control the queues and stop numpties joining the queue 8 hrs before flying and decongest security."
