Harry and Meghan top 'betrayal' list ahead of iconic moments

Megxit has been voted Britain’s Biggest Betrayal in a poll by Alton Towers Resort. Prince Harry and Meghan’s announcement that they were ‘stepping back’ as working royals stunned the world in January 2020.

Alton Towers Resort undertook the survey following the launch of Nemesis Reborn. The coaster, formerly Nemesis, is back with a vengeance for the 2024 season after a multi-million pound transformation. Pop impresario Louis Walsh describing Jedward as “vile” rounds out the Top Five with 12%. Bianca Sammut, Divisional Director at Alton Towers Resort, said: “Since re-opening in March more than 200,000 thrillseekers have already experienced the monster’s vengeful return. It’s embodied in the new dark look that sees her red veins snaking along the entire length of the black track.
