Hardgate pupils enjoy Palmerston visit

The whole of Hardgate Primary went on a fun end of term trip to the Queen of the South Arena, Palmerston and the Ice Bowl in Dumfries recently.

When they had arrived at Palmerston, they first abandoned the buses and headed inside to unload their precious cargo before splitting into their classes and beginning their action-packed morning at Queen of the South Arena.The first game after the warm-up was normal games which was first goal wins and winner stays on.The first place that the tour guide took the children was into the manager’s office.

This was because it messed with the other teams’ minds to give Queens a slight advantage for their game.It was clean, not broken, which again would give Queens a slight advantage.The stadium looks so much bigger than it does on TV!
