It was also a trip down memory lane as it was there the club took part in their first competition when it was founded six years ago.Kayleigh kept her cool as it was her first ever competition after only recently starting sessions with the club.There was joint sixth for Grace, Eilidh and Sophie on vault and joint second for Lucy and Poppy on vault. The judges told coach Megan that they thought the vaults were of a lovely standard and had enjoyed judging the Stewartry girls.
The age 12+ girls also had a brilliant day. Freya was super in her first competition, winning third on vault, with Freya, Erin, Anelle and Ruby placing second as a team. Special shout of the day goes to Anelle, who took part in her first competition after some time away from gymnastics. She held her head high on vault after a fall and her team-mates and coaches are very proud to have her back on the competition floor.
