Guinea pigs are the best!! But please be aware that they’re not typical pets to stroke. They are natural prey animals (condors!) and can get quite stressed when this type of contact is forced on them. I can highly recommend just watching them. It’s super relaxing & entertaining!

LAGuineaPigResc I have experience with this!! I had brain surgery 6 years ago and my Guinea Polo helped me recover so much. I would turn down pain medication and just ask for my Guinea Pig. RIP Polo! She was priceless!

In Peru eating them helps people budget their weekly shop.
