GTA 6 – it’s still going to be a very long wait The long-awaited new GTA sequel is still well over a year away but it hasn’t slipped into 2026 says the owner of Rockstar Games. It still doesn’t have an exact release date, but we now know for a fact that GTA 6 is aiming to be out sometime in autumn 2025. Many had been hoping for a spring release but with rumours of a delay it certainly could’ve been worse news.
Borderlands 4 seems a better fit for Take-Two’s hyperbole, as while the company only recently bought developer Gearbox it has published all of the previous titles. A new Bioshock game also seems an outside chance, but while one has been in development hell for several years nothing has ever been said or revealed about it.
